Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Sally Chen, of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, who operates Silvianne (“we”, “us”). By signing in to or using Silvianne, you agree to them. If you use it for a company, you agree for that company too.

The service

Silvianne is a CRM that runs on your Gmail and Google Calendar: it sorts your inbox, keeps contacts, companies and deals up to date, prepares meetings and helps you schedule them. It's in early access: features will change, and some may be added or removed.

Your account

• You sign in with a Google account. Keep it secure: what's done through your account is your responsibility.
• You must be at least 16, and able to agree to these terms.
• One person, one account. Don't create more accounts to get more of what each account includes.

Your data

• Your mail and calendar stay yours. What you add to a team's shared contacts, companies and deals belongs to that team, and stays with it if you leave. You let us process them only to run Silvianne for you, as our privacy policy describes.
• Your mailbox holds other people's information. You're responsible for having the right to use it the way you do, for example under your employer's rules for a work account.
• Email you send through Silvianne must follow the law, including anti-spam laws such as Canada's CASL.

The AI

Silvianne uses AI to sort mail, suggest relationships, deals and stages, and write briefs. The AI can be wrong. It only suggests: you decide, and you should check anything important before relying on it.

Price

Silvianne is free for 14 days, with no card needed. After that it's $29 a month ($299 a year) for one person, however many Gmail accounts they connect, or $39 a person a month ($399 a year) for a team. LinkedIn, WhatsApp and Slack are $15 a person a month each, or $168 a year. Add-ons are charged for the whole month you connect them, and stop at your next renewal after you disconnect. On a yearly plan, the rest of the year is charged when you connect one, and the whole months left are credited back when you disconnect it. There's no limit on AI use. To protect the service, if one person's AI use runs far above normal in a day, it pauses until the next day.

Referrals

When someone signs up through your link and starts paying, their first month is free, and you get 20% of what they pay in their first 12 months of paying, before tax and less any refund, as credit on your own bill. Each payment counts once 30 days pass without a refund or dispute. It doesn't count for teammates, for yourself, or for someone paying from the same company address as you. Credit comes off your bill; it isn't paid out as cash.

Acceptable use

Don't use Silvianne to:

• send spam, or anything illegal, deceptive or harmful;
• access accounts or data that aren't yours;
• probe, overload or get around the security or limits of the service;
• copy, resell or reverse-engineer it.

Other services

Silvianne works through Google's services, and your use of them stays under Google's own terms. We're not responsible for services we don't run.

Paid plans

• Renewal: plans renew until you cancel in Settings. If a payment fails, your accounts pause: you can still read and export everything, and nothing is deleted.
• Price changes: we tell you a month before a price changes.

Ending

You can stop using Silvianne at any time, disconnect your accounts in Settings, and ask us to delete your data at [email protected]. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we stop offering Silvianne; we'll give notice when we reasonably can.

No warranty

Silvianne is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before it, or CAD $100.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of British Columbia.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and tell you before a significant change takes effect. Using Silvianne after that means you accept the new terms. Questions: [email protected].
